1) Design- we use a 4-post head design, which allows for more head stability & reduces the chance for a "sag" or "uneven" cutgs. With an inner H-frame bearing support system, this applies less stress on the bearings and drive shafts. The H-frame uses no "camber" in the wheels for tracking. Camber causes unnecessary stress, which leads to early bearing and shaft fatigue.
2) Service- When needed, it's simple. Easy access to all the bearings, shafts, and belts makes adjustments and sevice simple. Blade changes are easy, no realighing or adjustments to make.. ** We keep extra blades in stock**
3) Blade Guides-Hud-Son uses our very own guides. With support on the top, bottom and back of the blades, where can it go? Our guides limit the chance of blade wander. The lower support holds the blade up and decreases the chance of "diving", while most companies only use top support.. Yes, we do sell our guides separately.

5) Powder Coated (baked on paint)- We care that you are completely satisfied with your recent purchase. We powder coat all our sawmills. Powder coating is durable, just like your HUD-SON! Each part is carefully prepared and coated to keep your investment looking like new for years to come.
6) Quality Assured- Every single unit passes a vigorous 28-point inspection. Each sawmill is tested with wood, not just visually looked at. It's not easy to earn the right to wear the HUD-SON label.

8) Warranty- All our mills, -16" to 25" have 2 year limited warranties. We stand behind our products. We do not hide behind the small print. HUD-SON offers a 6 year shaft and bearing warranty. Warranty varies on commerically used products.

9) Wheel belts- All our bandwheels, from 16"-30" in size, have tight fitting grooved urethane belting. This completes the match and balance with the wheel, belt, bearings, and shafts. This removes the vibratin mills with "loose belts" have and improves the quality of your cut.
10) Portability- All HUD-SON mills are portable. Some can be moved with a 4 wheeler (ATV), some with a pick up truck, and some are light enough a man and woman can move it.
